Great last minute decision!!!! Very friendly very accommodating!!!! Owner has very positive attitude very humble guy! Rooms are very comfortable very spacious not what you would expect pulling in parking lot. Plenty of space between beds, modern heat and air units, surprisingly quiet very efficient and easy to operate! We had room 38 very clean very welcoming completely unexpected 55 inch flat screen roku tv wall mounted with direct TV! Bathroom very clean nice water pressure not the typical white white towels, thicker and comfier towels nice working fridge microwave! Will gladly stay here again and recommend to all friends family and colleagues!!!
Small town motel but everything you need. Reminds me of grandma's house back in the day. Kids enjoyed it and price was great.
First time back under the new owner and it is an amazing change. The hotel has always been a nice place to stay when out west hunting or a stop when heading to Colorado but it was a bit dated. The new owner has been remodeling the rooms and we stayed in one of them this time. Very well done..clean comfortable room.
Rooms were clean and larger than expected beds were more comfy than a lot of other, motels I've stayed at. Rates were really affordable.
Pleasant place to stay. Very clean. My room had a kitchenette; fully furnished with dishes, cookware and silverware. Lighting was good. The owner is pleasant and helpful. The office offers free coffee, ice and sodas and bottled water for $.50.

Stayed here on a recent hunting trip and everything was fine. One thing we lacked was a coffee maker in the room and the office did not generally have coffee on, so we walked to a nearby convenience store. This place is made for hunters and people looking for an inexpensive, no frills place. I would stay here again when in Hill City.
We have family in Hill City so when we visit this is our go to place! Rooms are always clean and comfortable, staff has always been very friendly and helpful! Price is great! Has that small town feel and we love that!
The room was decent sized and clean, complete with mini fridge and microwave. The rate was extremely affordable for a family. Not bad for a small town. The desk assistant was very friendly as well.
